Galen connects the practice and teachings of yoga with the issue of climate change through www.climateyogi.org. He is a yoga teacher, musician, grandparent, retired from a career in marine fisheries management. Galen grew up in Kansas, lived in Alaska for 30 years, and now resides in Maryland. “I find personal energy and renewal in nature and enjoy outdoor activities of all kinds. I’m interested in sustainable communities and in radically changing society’s relationship to the environment, from exploiting it to nurturing it.
